Ashley Lail pitches shutout in first outing of season

Ashley LailIn her first game back after missing the 2008 season with a knee injury, Ashley Lail of the University of North Texas pitched seven shutout innings against Detroit Mercy at the Corpus Christi Invitational on Saturday morning.

She allowed just three hits.
