June 2007 Archives

Patrick Lail, an attorney, is getting in the public eye in Georgia and nationally among veteran and military service sites over a suit filed by a fired police officer against the city of Holly Springs, Ga.

Patrick Lail represents the city in the federal lawsuit filed in early June by Michael Wells, who contends he was fired from his job because of the time he took off from work to serve in the Georgia Army National Guard.

Like most contentious issues, there are more sides than a church homecoming spread, but you can read an Atlanta Constitution Journal article on it here.
