I had an email overnight from someone who asked if I knew anyone whose first name is Lail.

I don't. Do you?

The emailer, Lail Whittemore, said he had never another person with Lail as a first name.

Lail as a last name is pretty uncommon in most parts, but Lail as a first name is rare indeed. Lucky Lail Whittemore!
