In the fun, but don't take it too seriously category, the Web site HowManyofMe (Beta) says:

  • There are 5,969 people in the U.S. with the last name Lail
  • Statistically the 5932nd most popular last name. (tied with 41 other last names)

The site says its stats are:

"More accurate than a Magic 8-ball. Less accurate than distributing and collecting 300 million surveys."

Love their sense of humor.

This site is virally spreading across the Internet with its powerful hook of "how many like me" question. I'm slow to pick up on these things, but I saw it here and then I got an email from a coworker. Needless to say, it's very viral. Hope you enjoy it.

How many have your name?

And I know two of them, hmmm. I checked a friend's name and there was zero of them. Again, it's just fun, not facts

I hadn't noticed this before, but the Urban Dictionary (always an interesting stroll) has at least one totally outrageous entry for .

LAIL (adj) - lail is used to describe something that is unintentionally funny and/or embarassing. This word is rumored to have either been started by Chris "Raab Himself" Raab from the indie movie Haggard or by the discordians after perverting the phrase "lol".
"I JUST HAD SEX WITH A FAT CHICK!"
"Lail. Hope you like having herpies son, that bitch is skanktacular. By the way, she slept with 4 other dudes tonight."

You have to wonder about whether having a last name that gets tagged wtih , , , , , , , as well as , is a good thing.

But it about sums it up, doesn't it. LOL, er I mean LAIL. Who's Chris Raab? Just a jackass actor.
