Charlotte firefighter Jeff :Lail was the featured in a July 19 story on charlotte.com on how firefighters alter their routine in this extremely hot weather.

And if they had to choose between sitting at an air-conditioned desk or braving the 100-degree heat, the answer is easy. “I’d rather be wearing this at 200 degrees,” Lail said.
