Peebles CEO Randy Lail

Peebles, a Virginia-based clothing retailer, will open its first Connecticut store in Waterbury.

"That's the kind of place we like to be," Randy Lail, chief operating officer for Peebles was quoted as saying in the Waterbury Republican-American on Friday, March 25, 2005.

Earlier in the week, he announced a new store in Troy, AL.

Peebles has some 140 odd stores and a distribution center in Knoxville, TN, nad South Hill, VA.
